Question
QUESTION: Hi there

Is there anyway i can view a users messenger chat logs from a different PC than they used? I know the usernames and passwords of the account

ANSWER: Hey Matt,

No you can't view chat logs from a different PC than the one they used. The chat logs are stored on the computer that they were typing from. Plus, in order for chat logs to be created on their computer, they would have needed to have chat logging on. But no, you cannot view those logs from another computer.

QUESTION: thankyou for the swift response.

Is there anyway i could shadow the MSN session from another PC - not the actual machine just the messenger?

Answer
Hi Matt,

No because MSN has a security feature that will only allow one instance of that account to be signed in at a time. So you cannot be logged into one account at two different locations, if you try to sign in while the other person is signed in somewhere else, it will sign them out.
