Expert: viksra - 10/28/2004

Question
Dear viksra,

I am a newbie to MSN Messenger and I am badly in need of some help in relation to Messenger Chat Log. I had not enbaled Chat Logging in MSN Messenger is there a way that I can check the date and time that I logged to MSN Messenger, if this not possible then is there any other source from which I can get this information such as Windows Registry or from the Server.

Appreciate your help.

Thank you

Rushdhi

Answer
Howdi Rushdhi. You can enable logging in MSN Messenger by clicking on Tools --> Options --> Messages. Now under the "Message History" area, make sure that "Automatically keep a history of my conversations" IS checked. Click "OK" to save the change that you just made. MSN Messenger will now log your conversations to the directory that is specified under the "Save my conversations in this folder" field.
