Question QUESTION: How do I find it on the toolbar?
ANSWER: David, Edit menu > Fill > Series > autofill is not on the toolbar.
You need to enter text first and then select the cells you want filled.
you can also...
Click within an excel CELL
Take your mouse to the lower right hand corner of the cell until you see a very small plus sign
Drag this plus to the right, left, up or down and whatever was in the source cell is the source of fill. You can copy or do a series fill this way.
You can also ... type 1 in cell A1
type 2 in cell A2 and us this fill handle to drag down for a series of numbers.
Type ExamB in A1 - Select cells A1:A10 and do a Control +D
There is FILL from the Edit menu also

QUESTION: Dear Nancy,
I think my quesion was unclear. I was referring to the autofill feature in Outlook for use when sending -emails which ask for name, addresss, email address, etc. It used to appear on my toolbar but I can't find it now.
David
Answer David, I am not familiar with autofill in Outlook. You can go to the Tools menu > Customize > Commands and review all the features available in Outlook .
With this window open you can drag any of the commands up to a toolbar or you can create a new toolbar.
I am wondering if you are referring to automatic name checking that fills in the email address automatically.
This is available from the Tools menu > OPtions > Preferences > Email options > Advanced email options.
So to put Name checking on the Standard toolbar you would open a new email form > Tools > customize < Commands > Standard > Name Checking and drag up to the toolbar, I have it to the right of the address tool.
