Question QUESTION: When I schedule an appointment in Outlook, then look at the schedule, it shows my name, not the name of the person with whom I scheduled the meeting. What am I doing wrong?
ANSWER: Charles, are you creating a meeting or are you just simply adding calendar items?
If you are adding a new appointment within your calendar whatever you put in the Subject line is what should be showing up in your reminder window and in your calendar.
I would ask also, where are you seeing your name?
Lots of variables that I am not clear on.

QUESTION: 1.I want to do both.
2. and 3. Here are the two meetings I set up for this week, as they appear on my calendar:
Mon Tues
Business (i.e., subject) Lunch (subject)
Joe's Diner Al's BBQ
Charles F. (me) Charles F.
Nowhere does it show the contact's name.
-----------------------------------------
Also, how do I set up a meeting w/ a contact who has no email address?
Answer Charles I would double check how you are filing your contacts.
From the tools menu > Options > Preferences > Contact Options...
In the upper right hand corner check the field how to file as...
Does it say company? Change this setting and try a new appointment.
If you are inviting someone to a meeting you would need an email address.
You can insert a calendar appointment without an email address.
