Microsoft Outlook - e-mail pictures

Expert: Nancy Janyszeski - 5/6/2009

Question
I have windows xp, my e-mail works works fine sending and receiving, but the problem that I have is I can only send 1 picture from my pictures in the computer. I used to be able to send 6,8,10 at a time, when I click on multiple pictures it ask if i want to make them smaller so they can go out e-mail like it always did ,but when it click on the e-mail it comes up operation failed but it will let me send one picture per e-mail at a time. Help John Thanks
P.S. Maybe my emal settings are not right.

Answer
John, I checked on an XP machine and selected multiple images from My Computer, right click > Send to... > mail recipient

I was prompted to make images smaller and choose keep original size.

I am thinking that either your images are too big in file size or you have changed your security settings or you might be on a network that is prohibiting you from multiple attachments.

Have you tried opening an email form and using the attachment feature?

Nancy
