Question QUESTION: I am running winXP w/ outlook 2002 SP3. I always depended on my auto fill when sending emails and all of a sudden it stopped working. I didn't change anything, install, reinstall...Nothing so I have no idea why it all of a sudden stopped working. Is there a way to get it to work again?
I have auto complete checked. and my .psl file has all the auto-fill names in it. What happened????
ANSWER: Ronny, I would ask if there is just for one name or for any new email?
Have you typed in the contacts name and then continued to complete the email and click on send?
Does it still not populate?

QUESTION: this happens for every email I send. The wierd thing is when I open Outlook the auto fill will be completely empty but as I start to send emails and manually complete the addresses the auto fill begins to populate with those addresses I already sent to. But once I close out of Outlook it loses all the email addresses and starts over empty.
The wierder thing is the .psl file contains all of my old autofill addresses. It all of a sudden decided to stop working. :(
Answer I don't have an answer for you but I would ask if you have changed your virus settings to delete cookies or something this might account for the autofill addresses to be gone but then repopulate once you start using again.
So Autofill does work, just not on reopening Outlook - so the Outlook settings are correct.
I am assuming you are not on a network at work but if you are then that would also account for it. Network administrators can set this feature to clear.
