Microsoft Outlook - Outlook 2002

Expert: Nancy Janyszeski - 6/6/2009

Question
I know that messages sent from some sources are sent in html, but when I receive them they show as plain text, even though I have html checked in my email format. Is there a reason for this?  Thanks

Answer
Laurence - you have checked HTML for creating new email messages not receiving them.

I also do not have Word checked for any reason in my Tools > Options > Mail format

I am not seeing if you are on a network - if you are this could be the determining factor.

Your Virus protection could also be set high to not allow HTML formatted messages.

Nancy
