Microsoft Outlook - lumping several addresses in one

Expert: Nancy Janyszeski - 6/7/2009

Question
Much repected, pls i would like to send emails to all the administrators in my organization via outlook, is there a way i can lump their addresses in one email address like  such that when i send an email to this address in the To field it automatically sends to all 200 administrators instead of having to type their individual adds in the bcc or To field. secondly can i include other addresses not on this network e.g yahoo addresses.
And better still can the name All Administrators show in the to field rather than

Answer
Dee, from the File menu > New > Distribution List >

Type in a name like
administrators

Then add the individuals you wish to have within this list.

When completed you can type

administrators in the BCC field and all of your list will receive the emails without knowing who the other recipients are.  When the recipients reply to all it will only come back to you.

For more details you can look up Distribution list in Outlook Help.
