Question my sister said "ok" to compressing my inbox, while I was not looking. I would never have done this, and I cannot restore the inbox.dbx file to outlook. please help, thank you, sincerely
Paula
Answer Paula, I have not seen this before. But,I did a Google search on the following.
microsoft outlook compressing to dbx
There are results for restoring the file - I do not know what version of Outlook you are using or Windows, etc.
You should be able to review and find one to help.
You might try going to the File menu > Import and import the dbx file back into Outlook - try this first.
