Question
How to show all appointments on a date in Outlook Calendar monthly view

Answer
Angela, this will depend on how many appointments you have within a date.  You might try changing the time from 30 minutes to 60 minutes.

Right click anywhere on the calendar and select View Settings > Other Settings > Time Scale and change to 60 minutes.

I am using Microsoft office 2010.

The size of your monitor and the monitor resolution will also have a bearing on how large or small the calendar display is.
