Answer
Yatin - you did not mention what version of Outlook you are using.  The basic directions are...

To import contacts in to Outlook 2007, make sure the contacts file is in .csv file format.
1.In Outlook 2007, choose File> Import and Export.
2.On the Import and Export Wizard window, choose Import from another program or file and click Next.
3.Select Comma Separated Values (DOS) and click Next.
4.Browse to the location where you saved the .csv file, select it, select the option of your choice for handling duplicates and click Next.
5.Select the Contacts folder as the destination and click Next.
6.Click Finish to complete the process.

One of the steps you will see when you import is ... Mapping fields.  YOu need to click on this and you decide which field being imported you want to match with the existing fields.  To do this you "drag" a field from the left side of the window to the right.

The following instructions will be helpful for "Mapping" your fields.

If you are still having trouble, repost your query and mention what version of Outlook the file was exported from and what version of Outlook you are currently using to import.

Be sure to "Map" your fields.
