Question
Hello,

How can I delete the emails from the Junk Email folder permanently, without them going into the Deleted Items folder, in Windows 7 Outlook?

Thanks,
Jeff

Answer
Jeff, did you create a junk folder or are you using the "junk" folder that appears when you open Outlook?

If you created a junk folder are you using Rules to send junk mail to this folder?

If you right click on the Outlook Junk folder and select Empty, the emails will be permanently deleted.

The following link will take you to an overview of the "junk" folder.  Perhaps you have inadvertently changed a Junk email option.

The link pertains to Outlook in Office 2010 but will apply to 2007 as well.
