I have a 2008 dell laptop and i am trying to make a powerpoint presentation, but when i try to open it it says to open a file and i cant figure out which to open so i can make my own presentation! i have to give my presentation on monday and i still cant get it to open! please help!!!

Natasha, are you trying to open a file, open PowerPoint, or start your laptop. At what time do you get the error?

If it is a file, does the error show up only with this particular file? What is the file extension of this file?
