Microsoft PowerPoint - deleting embedded music

Expert: Nancy Benner Janyszeski - 10/12/2009

Question
I have a song embedded in power point 2007 and have tried deleting this but it continues to play.  I have followed the directions on deleting this but I still can't get rid of the music!  Please help!
Everyone wants to play music but I'm trying to get it to stop!  I have only 41 seconds of a wav file - my other songs are fine.  I just want to remove this one song and I can't!

Answer
Linda, sorry I have not seen this problem before.  There is some information on the Microsoft site that might be helpful.  It may be that your file has become linked insted of embedded or vice versa.
