Microsoft PowerPoint - insert voice for powerpoint presentation

Expert: Nancy Benner Janyszeski - 10/10/2009

Question
My 12 year old son has a school project which has to be powerpoint and also include voice for the text. I need an easy and preferably free program that will let my son do his project.
Thanks

Answer
Robert, I am assuming you men you need to include your son's voice within the PowerPoint presentation.

If this is the case you need to record your son's voice.  Most new computers come microphone enabled.

Once you have the *.wav file you can insert it from the insert menu .

Did the school suggest how this was accomplished? Not everyone has the ability to record sound files.

Nancy
