Microsoft PowerPoint - slide show

Expert: Michael Bali - 10/13/2009

Question
I'd like to prepare a PPS with Power point.
After I entered 6/7 pictures, I liked to see them like a slide show.
On the slide show, those pictures don't look like as they are in the folder, not the same size. They look HUGE like if they are zoomed.
WHY?How can  have them a regular size? I mean visible, that fit in the screen?
Please, try to understand what I mean .English is not my first language and I struggle to make you undersand me. Thank you.

Answer
Hi Germaine,

You will need to reduce the size of the pictures before previewing it on slideshow mode. There are many ways to accomplish this.

The easiest way to accomplish this is to use the format picture function on powerpoint.

1. Right click on the image you want to reduce in size
2. Click on Format Picture
3. In the format picture box click on the size tab
4. Under the Size and Rotate category you will see a box where it says height and width.
5. Click the down arrow where it says height. You should see the numbers go down on the height and width while click the down arrow.
6. Click on preview to see if the picture size decreased. If it has decreased to fit the box then you are in good shape.
7. Click ok and view slide show to see if the picture has reduced in size.

There is another option in the size tab but for now use this method and let me know if it works.

Thanks,

Mike
