Microsoft PowerPoint - Problem in Power point broadcast recording

Expert: Geetesh Bajaj - 11/4/2009

Question
QUESTION: I have recorded a power point broadcast session in Power Point 2003. The PPT contains little bit of animation. I am facing a problem of slide blinking. (Slide is getting loaded again and again whereever there is animation) while replaying broadcast.

Please help me to overcome this problem in broadcast recording.

ANSWER: Which program are you using to record the broadcast?

QUESTION: Powerpoint 2003, Professional edition, Broadcast Add-In.

Answer
Prashant, thanks for getting back.

Well, the Broadcast add-in is a product that Microsoft no longer supports -- in fact, they did not create a similar add-in for PowerPoint 2007. You did run into one of the many limitations of the product.

Another alternative is to use a product like TechSmith Camtasia Studio to record your presentations with narration -- if you have a sufficiently, powerful computer -- it does a far better job. However, it's not a free product.

Have a great day.
