Microsoft PowerPoint - Adding a GIF to powerpoint 2007/2008

Expert: Geetesh Bajaj - 5/30/2009

Question
How do I add a GIF file to a powerpoint slide for the 2007/2008 version. I can find instructions on adding to a 2003 version, but I can't do all of those steps with powerpoint 2007/2008.

Answer
Adding a GIF works the same way in PowerPoint 2007 -- go to the Insert tab of the Ribbon, and choose Picture.

PowerPoint 2008 on Mac works a little differently with GIFs that are animated -- look here for more info:

Have a great day.
