Hi John,
Is it possible to create a random number generator / selector in Power Point? I am a teacher and this would be an ideal aid to randomly select students for tasks in the classroom.

How many people in the class?

If it's not too many you might be able to adapt the idea in the demo here

If it's lots you will probably need to use vba code There are examples on PowerPoint alchemy

We are also able to make "Action Buttons" that can trigger up to 40 different random actions but not for free!
