I am making a presentation in Powerpoint 2007 and I would like to make sure that the slides don't advance when just clicking on the slide. Instead, I have inserted a special button on the slide where you are able to advance to the next slide. I have already tried to unmark the 'advance slide on mouse click' under the Animations tab but then none of my animations that i've put in the slide work either. Do you have a solution for this? Thanks
Answer Hello Wim,
Actually, you could set the mouse action so that the slides don't advance advance when clicking.
Go to Insert -> Action, then the Action Setting dialog will appear. Under the Mouse click tab, you could set the click Action from "Hyperlink to" to "None". After this setting, slides don't advance advance when clicking. You could try the way.
