Microsoft PowerPoint - ppt movie

Expert: Jeffson - 5/20/2009

Question
Hi Jeff,

I created a folder under C:\ and then copied the movie in this folder. I have then created a ppt presentation and saved it in the same place. I have inserted my movie in the presentation but when I try to play the screen goes black for 10 seconds and then the start image appears. I am currently running Win XP Pro and Win Media Player 11 with Office 2003.

My movie plays fine by itself on Win Media Player, it's only in the presentation it doesn't play.

Thanks,
Laura.

Answer
Hello,

Sorry for the late reply.

regarding the movie issue, that may be because the movie is a little big in file size. So when presenting your ppt, it will take some time for PowerPoint program to call the moive. So try to check out some other movies and make sure if they work file on your presentation.
