Question QUESTION: Hi
I use PPT 2007 on Windows.
I insert pictures in high resolution to a page.
Then I give it some kind of picture effect (this is true to almost all the picture. effects of ppt 2007).
After I give the effect, the picture seems to loose its high resolution, and to become blurred.
How can I prevent this phenomenon?
Thanks
Moshe
ANSWER: That's PowerPoint 2007's automatic compression at work. Look here for more specifics:
QUESTION: Thanks for your reply Geetesh.
However, it does not answer my question. Your reply refers to regular picture compression, and I always use it. I, however, was asking about picture resolution going down after I do a picture effect (such as fade, reflection etc). When I do the effect, the picture is getting blurred even if I take the measures mentioned in your reply.
Any advice?
Moshe
Answer Can you send me the presentation where this happens -- add a picture to the slide, duplicate the slide and add a picture effect so that you end up with a two slide presentation -- one with the picture without being blurred, and the other with the blurred picture.
Then send the presentation to your email address through YouSendIt.com -- you'll receive a download link -- post that here for me to look at the presentation.
