Microsoft PowerPoint - blank slides

Expert: Geetesh Bajaj - 6/18/2009

Question
QUESTION: Hello,

I am inserting pictures into my powerpoint presentation. When I go to slide show it is showing blank slides prior to the actual picture each and every time. How do I get rid of the blank slides??

ANSWER: I'll request a few clarifications, since I need more details to properly respond to this question:

1. Does your presentation actually have blank slides?

2. Did you create this presentation yourself, or did someone send it to you?

3. Do the pictures have entrance animations applied?

Have a great day.

QUESTION: 1. No it does not. I'm inserting them from a file.
2. Yes, I did.
3. Yes, they do. However, so did my last presentation and that one worked out fine.

Basically, the first slide is blank, second slide is good, third slide blank, so on and so forth.

Answer
Unless you have a slow animation applied that shows a blank slide, and then an animated picture, there does not seem to be many explanations for this one.

However, I should be able to help you at this point of time if I can see the slides -- please upload and email them to yourself through yousendit.com and post the link here.

Have a great day.
