It has been several yrs since I have done this (in older versions) and I can not figure out how to accomplish this task of changing the line colour of an imported (pasted) image into PPT. Currently the image has multiple colours and I want to change all the colours to black. As shared, in earlier versions it was possible.... just can't figure out how in 2007.
I looked into "Format" and chose "recolour". However this does not allow me to reselect MY colours...
Also tried:
To change the color of all the lines in your slides, please go to:
Design->>click Colors in the theme group->>click Create new Theme Colors.
Then change the color of Accent1 or the proper one in your case.
I could create new colours.. but could not figure out how to make them apply to "my" drawing.
Problem with the attachment (it is a floor plan from AutoCAD) is that the yellow lines are lost (barely noticeable) which is why I want to turn all colours to black. As shared this process was doable in the past.. just can't figure out how to complete with today's version.
Any suggestions?
Thank you very much.
Susan
Answer Susan, I created a line drawing and saved as a jpg. Inserted it into a PowerPoint slide.
Double clicked the image and the format tools tab appeared showing recolor
I clicked on recolor and chose other options - the line colors were changed.
I can only suggest you check the type of image you are working with, if possible save it in a different format if it is not already a jpg.
