Question
Hi John,
I have been working on a powerpoint presentation on the solar system using some VBA. The 1st slide contains pictures of all the planets and I want to put the powerpoint in kiosk mode and have the user click on all the planets (which all hyperlink to slide about planet) before moving on to the next part of the presentation! Is this possible? I have searched everywhere - and even bought a book (Powerful powerpoint for educators)! Your help would really be appreciated! :)
Thanks,
Deirdre.

Answer
Do you need to use vba? I'm pretty sure this can be done without.

If the planet pics only link to custom shows with the planet information and an action button is the only way to get to the "next" slide all you need do is have copies of the action button in grey and inactive covering the real button and have each one exit when a planet is clicked using triggers.

If you don't understand triggers we have several tutorials.

The one on jeopardy buttons has a similar concept
