Microsoft PowerPoint - Power point page set up

Expert: Geetesh Bajaj - 9/20/2009

Question
I am trying to set up the PPoint page at dimensions:Width 210cm
and height 90cm-but the maximum width that PPoint gives is 142 cm.
How can I solve this problem?I am trying to design a poster for a congress.
Thanks,
georgia

Answer
Georgia, yes that's a PowerPoint limitation since this program was never intended to create posters. However I do understand that you would like to create one within PowerPoint -- so you will have to do this workaround:

Since your required size is 210 x 90 cms -- try scaling that down proportionately two-thirds to 140 x 60 cms -- then choose your printer's Scale to print option when printing.

You'll find a detailed explanation of this process here:

Have a great day.
