Question QUESTION: I am really frustrated. I am trying to copy a presentation to a CD but I keep getting an error message. Just as it appears that it is almost finished putting the presentation on the CD or DVD (I've tried both) it says "can't copy to CD program may be in use by another program." It still does this when PowerPoint is the only program open. Please heeeellllllpppppppp! Thank you for your time and consideration on this issue. :o)
ANSWER: Try choosing the Copy to Folder option within the Package for CD dialog box -- and then burn the contents of the folder to a CD on your own using your regular burning application.
QUESTION: Thank you, I'll try that but do you know a way I can get it to stop saying that the recorder may be in use by another program?
Answer Anthony, the reason why I don't have a satisfactory answer for that part of the question is because I am guessing some program on your computer is accessing the recorder at that time as PowerPoint reports -- it might be a startup program that's doing that, or maybe it is a registry conflict. Either way, I won't be comfortable asking you to take steps that might effect the functioning of other programs on your system.
