Microsoft PowerPoint - Presenters Notes

Expert: Nancy Benner Janyszeski - 9/21/2009

Question
I use Powerpoint 2007 and regularly employ the Presenter's notes facility to keep myself on stream and on time during my presemntations. I've recently started using animation, and in some cases, I have maybe three animations in one slide. Is there any way in which I can inject a "marker" of some description into the text of my Presenters Notes, telling me when to hit the advance button on my remote control, to activate the next animation?

Answer
Stu, PowerPoint gives you the option to rehearse the timings of your presentation.  At this time you can insert a symbol or word into your notes that will remind you to advance to the next slide.
