No, he was talking about making the text boxes closer together while keeping the overall size of the chart the same, which is the same thing I'm trying to do without success. The point is to minimize blank space and make the text in the boxes overall larger in the process.  Once you get a lot of boxes in the org chart, the boxes get really small. If there wasn't so much blank space between boxes, the boxes could be bigger. There should be an overall setting to adjust this.

I have found that the best place to go to find a PowerPoint Organizational Chart Template is lucidchart.  Their site is very straightforward and user friendly!
