Microsoft PowerPoint/Custom Slide Transitioning

Question
Is there a way to make the first slide of a presentation act as a screensaver?  For instance, if the presentation is on slide 3 and the presenter doesn't click to advance to slide 4 after two minutes, the presentation will automatically jump to slide 1 and stay there until the presenter clicks to advance the presentation, which then jumps to slide 4 (instead of slide 2)?

Answer
Carol - unfortunately I was not able to find a way to do what you are looking for.  This would require something like a macro as you want to override the existing transition between slides based on timing.  The macro recorder, used to automate frequent tasks, is not available in Microsoft PowerPoint, your would need to have Visual Basic skills, if even then it could be done.

The following are 3 very good Microsoft training sites that might be of interest or provide an alternative.
