Microsoft Publisher - Pages

Expert: Dawn Douglas - 12/18/2008

Question
In working on a booklet, I would like to hide the numbering on the first several pages (not just page one).  Is there a way to hide the number on a particular page or pages?

Answer
Hi James,

The simplest way to do this is just to cover the page number with a white box that has no borders. The page numbers are a part of your header or footer and Publisher unlike Microsoft Word doesn't give you the option to show/hide page numbers on certain pages.

So where the page number appears, just draw a tiny box over it, fill it with white or whatever your background color is and remove the border.

Hope that helps.

Very Respectfully,

Dawn
