Microsoft Publisher - Publishing a pdf on my web site using Microsoft Publisher 2007
Expert: Dawn Douglas - 2/1/2009
Question I have designed a website on Microsoft publisher 2007 www.ssethi.co.uk. As part of this l want to place either word documents or pdf files. I have inserted documents and pasted them on to page with an icon.
When l preview the files in MS Office, l can click on these links and it pulls up the relevant documents.
However, when l publish site , all l see is an icon and l am not able to extract documents (please see page 2 & 4) of my site.
How do , l get these files to be downloadable off my site?
Thanks
Answer Hi Shelly,
You need to create a hyperlink for the documents to link to them to the files you already have uploaded on your webserver. When I looked at your source VML I noticed your image wasn't linked to any file. You'll have to fix that before customers will be able to download documents to your site.
