About Nancy Janyszeski
Expertise
I no longer use Publisher to create websites, I prefer to have more control over website content. In my opinion Publisher works great for desktop publishing brochures, flyers, tickets, etc. If you run into a publishing issue with Publisher it can be frustrating to fix and sometimes necessary to redo.

Experience
I currently teach Microsoft Office 2003 and 2007, plus FrontPage and HTML at our Vocational Schools.

I am Microsoft Office User Specialist (MOUS) Master Certified and was certified as a MOUS Authorized Instructor. Instructional design and test writer for ActivTest, a division of Activ Training based on the ECDL's standard for end-user software competence.

Microsoft Publisher - Exporting Publisher

Expert: Nancy Janyszeski - 1/12/2006

Question
I'm using Publisher 98 with Office 2000. I'd like to export a Publisher File (349 bytes) to powerpoint. Is this possible?

Answer
Lawrence,

Although you cannot export directly from Microsoft Publisher, you can cut and paste all or part of the text in a publication to a document in another application. You can also save the publication in a different file format to use in the other application.

Nancy
