Microsoft Word/Graphics in Word 2007

Question
I have some .doc files that I can view normally in older versions of MS Word, but when I view them in Word 2007, the graphics are just a black box. Any Thoughts
Gary, check the setting using the Office button > Word Options > Advanced > Show document content > Show Picture placeholders - if there is a check mark - remove it.
While reviewing this screen see if there is another setting that might apply. Usually this is it.
