Microsoft Word - MS Word 2003

Expert: Aidan Heritage - 10/28/2009

Question
Ms word 2003 does not recognize my HP photosmart C6380 all in one printer and does not print.
Ms Excel 2003 is printing without any problem.
Can you give me detailed instructions as to how to fix this problem?

Answer
As far as I know, all Office programs print to whatever printer is selected using the driver in Windows – so if Windows is happy with the printer, Word should be happy with the printer – I can see no logical reason why one component of office should work find and another not, though I accept that this is what seems to be happening with you - however, a google search suggests that it MAY be something that other users of the printer have found - BUT this would indicate it's a printer specific issue and not a Word one.

is the best thread I found through google.
