Microsoft Word - MS word 2007 locked!?

Question
Hi, when I open up my MS word 2007 (student edition) and try to type something, it says that "modification is not allowed because document is locked". But I have just finished installing the program with the product key. I don't know why it is still locked and I need to use the program ASAP. Thank you very much for your help!

Hi Alice,

Must report that I don’t have Word 2007 and have yet to be convinced that I need it.

Feel free to ask one or all of the other volunteers about this issue.

One of them just may have run into a similar situation and they all are a lot smarter than I am.
