Microsoft Word - Word 2003 Time of Day field

Expert: Pamela Mullenix-Croft - 10/26/2009

Question
Is there a way to enter a field that will automatically enter Good Morning, Good Afternoon or Good Evening based on the time of day?

Thank you.

Answer
Hello Mike,

We have other experts on the board that display experience in code that you might want to ask. For the time being, I did find a script that will create a message box that will update, although it sounds like more of what you want is to have the text right on the page.

Do feel free to ask one of our other experts, as they may be able to give you a hand in this.

I hope this helps.

Best regards,
Pamela
