Microsoft Word - center words on printout

Expert: Nancy C. Janyszeski - 10/15/2009

Question
Hello Ms. Janyszeski,

With my page size set to 6" x 9", when I print onto an A4 sheet, the print is not centered, but is right down at the bottom edge of the paper (likewise, to the left).

I've searched everywhere for a setting, but can't find one.

Can you help?

regards,
Dan

Answer
Dan - are you using Print Preview before sending to the printer?

Double checking margins, page orientation

I would ask ... if you are printing on A4 and you want the text centered why would you change the dimensions of the page size to 6x9.

Centered is centered regardless of the page size.  It may be that I am not understanding your question.

Nancy
