Microsoft Word - Any macro to set frmtting of page

Question
Hello Mahesh,

I am looking to make a master page having formatting as per my requirement and I want that same formatting to continue with all the pages I have. Is there any macro , if i run that macro it will change the format as per master format. If requied I can send u formaating detail.

Answer
Hi Mr. Bhatt,

I am slight unclear about your situation.  I assume here that you have a document (master) which is already formatted as per your requirement and you have another document (new) which you want to have formatting as per the master document.

Creating a macro to do this will be a tedious task. There will be lot of programming attached to it.  In this situation, the best I believe is for you to reformat the document using the styles in your master document.  I believe the master document must be having styles.  If you can copy those styles into your new document (using the Organizer button in the Format - Style dialog box) you can use those styles into the new document and format it as per master.

Let me know if this is clear. If the master document does not have styles then this is going to be time consuming task for you to reformat the new document.

Regards,
Mahesh K
