Microsoft Word/skipping around

Question
Hi Aidan,
I bought a new dell laptop in march and am having an issue with the cursor jumping around when I try to type documents, email , etc.  I will be writing and suddenly the cursor will jump to another part of the document for no apparent reason.  What am I doing wrong?  Hitting a certain key in error?  It drives me crazy as I sometime don't notice it's happened again until I'm far along.

Thanks for any help.
Kath

Answer
This is an issue with the laptop rather than the software - as I haven't got a dell I cannot be certain what the reason is but this search may help
