Microsoft Word/Word Print Layout view not working

I had a big problem with this as well in any new document.  When I looked at it, the White Space between pages was not clicked - THANK YOU.  It works now.

I had the same problem and followed this advice.  For Word 2007, I went to Word Options/Display.  The "show white spaces" was unchecked.  When I checked it, the print view worked correctly.
