Microsoft Word/2 pages per sheet

I believe this answer will allow you to print multiple pages per sheet (paper face), but it will not allow you to send or store a digital format that can be used by, for example, an online publisher. There were options that permitted this in Word 2007, so I expected the same capability in the newer Word For Mac - 2011. However, so far, my extensive investigations within the program and on the Net have only revealed using the printer as a way to divide the page. If there is no way to format the sheet for two pages (say, 5.5" x 8.5"), this is a very serious omission.
