Question
I open a blank word document and it has a grid on it for the whole page how do i open just a normal blank document like i used to do in MS 2003. UGH!!!! How do i get rid of this problem i can not open a blank document.

If it is a table then the easiest option is to rename your normal template (with word closed).  Go to Windows explorer and search for normal.dotm  and rename it to normal1.dotm, restart word and it will give you a new blank document.

You can also delete the offending table.  Have a look at this link
