Microsoft Word/word 2007

My husband has his own business and has created a letter head with a logo in the header and an address in the footer. Well it so happens that every time we open word a page with the logo and address are there. If we open a new blank document, the logo & address appears in that one too. I have created a new blank document and have thumb tacked it in recent documents, however, I really would like to open word and have a blank page.  How do I go about resetting or defaulting back?  Thanks for attention to this matter.

Kathy - it appears that you actually saved the letterhead as your normal.dotx.  Normal.dotx is the template for a new blank document and easily updated.

The following article from a Microsoft Tutorial will explain how to resave it without the logos, etc.
