Microsoft Word/page break in a table


word 2007    i have a table in a word document  i want to introduce a page break at the bottom of a certain row so that the next lower row starts on a new page    cannot do it  either nothing moves, or another row gets transferred also

please advise

There are so many variables that I am not aware of.

There is an option in Table properties that will not let rows break across pages, it is poossible that is what you are looking for.

Table properties > Row tab > disable "allow row to break across pages"

I SELECTED the last row of my table on Page one

and clicked on Insert > Pages > Page Break

This SELECTED last row became row one on Page 2.

It is possible you are inserting the page break in the wrong row.
