Question
I have a file that is just under 1MB (995k) and I open it and it has frozen.  I cannot page, edit, add text or do anything.  Upon trying it goes into 'not responding'.  I tried saving with new name and deleting original, same result.
Critical document, how can I save this?  Thank you.

Answer
Hello Paul,

Based on the issue you have described, you have a corrupted document and it may be irreparable.

I recommend that you repair the document as follows:

File > Open
Select (DO NOT OPEN) the document
Pull the down arrow next to Open at the bottom of the open window
Select Repair
(Follow onscreen instructions)

Please Note:  your file may be missing some of the data when the repair completes

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Mary Lindsey
