Microsoft Word/poor printing results for envelopes

Question
Hi Nancy, how've you been?

I use a HP Deskjet 841c printer, with Windows XP on my computer.
I'm printing both a letter and an envelope.
Using Word 2003, the letter printed fine, but the envelope was horrible-looking. The print looked very, very weak, with a lot of missing ink in every single character.
This came as a total surprise, because I've printed many envelopes without a hint of problems.
I ran a printer test page, with beautiful results.

I conclude that some setting is wrong, but I can't figure out where  the problem is.

Can you help?

Thanks

Chris

Answer
Chris - sorry I can't really help with this one.  It is so specific to your computer, XP and your Printer.

I did find the following which is similar to what you are experiencing.

Are you using a different template for this document/envelope?

All the best, sorry I can't be of more help.

Nancy
