Microsoft Word/Formatting Fonts

Question
Hi Michelle,
I use MS Office 2007 on W7 and W10 and am reasonably proficient in all the programs. The thing that bugs me, though, is that when I type, for example, the titles of my books, I have to type the word/s, then italicize, then change the font. I tried Auto Correct but there’s no option to change the font & italicize as I type the title of the book, if that makes sense. I’ve never used macros, which I suspect is probably what I need to do. Can you help me streamline this annoying problem please? I hope, if there is a solution, that it would work in Outlook and Excel as well.
