To save time word will also create additional rows and number them consecutive for you. Place your curser to the end of a row then simply click enter and the next row will appear and will also have the correct numbers assigned.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I've been doing it the old fashioned way for 5 years!! What could of taken me days to complete, I was able to do it in less than 5 minutes. Thank you so much for posting this. Took me a while to figure it out, but I was able to.

I am familiar with beginner, intermediate and advanced level questions. I am particularly good on those questions that don't come up much, like subdocuments, and annoying things like bullets and numbering. I am not yet familiar with 2007.
