Microwave Cooking - how to make pizza in microwave

Expert: Donovan Fandre - 4/10/2008

Question
i recentally buy a basic model of kenstar microwave. It doen't have 'convention mode' option, so how can i cook frozen pizzas in it.

Answer
Dear Moksha, frozen pizza cooked by microwave produces a very soggy crust and in my opinion not satisfactory. But, if you microwave a frozen pizza for about 3-4 minutes until the cheese is bubbling and then transfer it to a conventional oven for about 5 minutes or until the crust is crisp, you will have the best pizza ever and in about 1/3rd the time of cooking it totally in a hot oven. Enjoy!
